  There was an interesting conversation about POCUS in the old forum which I’m reposting here.

  I’ve added the Radiology Business article that kicked off this particular discussion back in 2019.

  In that thread, there is reference to a POCUS perspective that Mindy Horrow wrote and my less diplomatic version of it.  Instead of attaching that, I’ve attached the paper that the SRU Board co-authored with the ACR US Commission and a transcript of testimony I gave to the FDA when they were looking at this issue as it applied to lung US.

  To be honest, I don’t really enjoy this topic–it gives me pain. Having said that, hopefully these attachments and any discussion we pursue in the Forum will help SRU members as they think about this issue.
